One of Fullerton’s best-known historical landmarks is 65-year-old Plummer Auditorium.
Built in 1930, the auditorium features a Grand Wurlitzer theater organ, one of only two in the United States. Overhead are ironwork chandeliers made in 1929 by metal shop students from Fullerton College and Fullerton Union High School.
In 1992 and 1993, the auditorium got a $2.6-million face lift that added new dressing rooms, storage areas and wheelchair-access restrooms.
The auditorium is on the National Register of Historic Places.
