Forum Due on Plans for Van Nuys Airport
A public meeting about planning issues for Van Nuys Airport is scheduled at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Balboa Room of the Airtel Plaza Hotel, 7277 Valjean Ave., Van Nuys.
The meeting is intended to be a forum where members of the community can make recommendations concerning airport land and operating uses over the next two decades.
These suggestions will be inserted in an alternatives briefing that is required for officials to complete an environmental impact report for the airport’s expansion plans.
Residents who cannot attend can send comments in writing to the Los Angeles Department of Airports, Facilities Planning Bureau, No. 1 World Way, Los Angeles 90045-5803.
