VENTURA : City to Weigh Plan to Expand Center
The Ventura City Council on Monday is scheduled to consider a proposal to more than triple the size of a shopping center.
Owners of the Kimball Shopping Center at Kimball and Telegraph roads want to expand the center from 32,000 square feet to a 98,000-square-foot retail center, said Mitch Oshinsky, Ventura planning and redevelopment manager.
The biggest expansion would take place at the Albertson’s Food & Drug Store, which would be expanded to 45,000 square feet, Oshinsky said.
