Threatt Re-Injures Muscle and May Miss the Rest of Series
TACOMA, Wash. —
Laker guard Sedale Threatt re-injured his strained abdominal muscle during Thursday night’s 96-71 loss to the Seattle SuperSonics and probably will miss the rest of the series.
Threatt, making his first appearance since the delicate injury forced him out April 9 for seven games, was going in for a layup with 7:45 left in the second quarter when he felt the muscle tear again.
“They put me back in in the second half,” Threatt said. “I couldn’t even get back on defense.”
