Share

Several hundred volunteers armed with brushes and rollers will participate Saturday in Glendale’s seventh annual Great Graffiti Paint and Community Cleanup Day.

The day will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Perkins Plaza behind Glendale City Hall. Volunteers will be issued paint for graffiti removal or gloves and large trash bags to pick up litter. Then, they will be assigned a list of defaced properties to spruce up.

Residents, local business people and city officials will participate in the event, sponsored by the city’s Department of Community Development and Housing, the Glendale CLEAN Committee and the Glendale Board of Realtors.
