A gun-wielding robber held up a Thousand Oaks pizzeria and escaped with an undisclosed amount of money, authorities said Tuesday.

The unidentified man entered the Thousand Oaks Pizza Hut at 365 Avenida de Los Arboles at 3 p.m. Monday and threatened three employees with a .38-caliber handgun, Ventura County sheriff’s deputies said.

No shots were fired and no one was injured.

The man, who is still at large, was described as either white or Latino, about 35 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing a dark shirt, possibly a turtleneck or possibly with a bandanna, and blue jeans. The gunman left on foot, but may have had access to a white Toyota pickup truck, deputies said.
