USC Wins Pacific 10 Baseball Title

Chad Moeller went four for four, driving in two runs, and USC starter Ben Tucker dazzled Washington State Friday night as the Trojans defeated the Cougars, 4-0, to win the Pacific 10 title.
The Trojans took the best-of-three series, 2-0, and earned an automatic berth in the NCAA baseball tournament.
Moeller hit a solo homer in the fourth and singled home a run in a two-run seventh. Paul Cruz doubled home a run in the eighth inning to cap the scoring for the Trojans (41-18).
Tucker (6-2) blanked the Cougars (28-30) on eight hits, with six strikeouts, for 7 2/3 innings.
