BREA —
A man died Friday night of injuries suffered when he lost control of his motorcycle and was ejected, police said.
John Jeff Ardaiz, 34, of Brea was riding west on Carbon Canyon Road on his motorcycle “at a high rate of speed,” police said, when he crossed the center line and struck a guardrail about 10:40 p.m. He was ejected and later pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no other vehicles involved in the crash, and the investigation is continuing.
