Orange : Rotary Clubs to Give Police, Fire Awards
The city’s three Rotary clubs will sponsor their 21st annual police and fire awards luncheon at the Doubletree Hotel on June 1.
Police and fire department exhibits will be on display, along with a video profiling the men and women being honored.
The clubs will recognize 11 civil servants during the lunch, which is open to the public.
Fire Chief David L. Rudat and Police Chief John R. Robertson will present the awards to winners in their departments, and Rotary Scout adviser William Schoppert will give awardsfor Explorer fire and police posts.
County Supervisor Gaddi H. Vasquez will speak.
The lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. Tickets may be purchased for $16 from the police, fire or finance departments.
