Thirteen Orange County students were recently selected winners in the 1995 “Water is Life” poster and slogan contests sponsored by the Municipal Water District of Orange County.

The contests are part of the water district’s 21-year water education program, designed to educate youngsters about water and water conservation.

From more than 2,000 entries, 13 students in kindergarten through the sixth grade were selected as winners. Vi Dieu Nguyen, a sixth-grader from A.G. Currie Middle School in Tustin was the grand prize winner.
