OXNARD : Man Hospitalized After Being Shot
An Oxnard man shot in the leg over the three-day weekend remained hospitalized Tuesday, officials said.
Police had few details about the shooting, which occurred about 9:30 p.m. Monday at the corner of Saviers Road and Bryce Canyon Avenue.
Louie Lucero, 22, of Oxnard was listed in fair condition at St. John’s Regional Medical Center.
“He got shot in the leg, that’s all I know,” said Oxnard Police Cmdr. Joe Munoz. Police are continuing their investigation, he said.
