Chrysler Recalls Some Jeeps, Eagles: Chrysler Corp. is recalling about 180,000 1985-90 AMC Jeeps and Eagles because the vehicles may exceed federal carbon monoxide tailpipe emissions standards, the Environmental Protection Agency said. The recall includes Chrysler’s Jeep CJ-7, Wrangler, J10 and Grand Wagoneers and AMC Eagles with 4.2-liter engines. The agency said owners will be notified by mail and that the repairs will be done free of charge and take about an hour.
