Countywide : Nurse Appreciation Observation Scheduled

Nurses who live or work in Orange County will gather in Anaheim on Saturday for festivities to commemorate the beginning of Nurse Appreciation Month.
Sponsored by the Orange County Chapter of the American Red Cross, the event will feature a fashion show of historical and modern nursing uniforms.
The event, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Anaheim House, will also include tours of the newly refurbished Victorian house at 418 N. West St.
Data will be available on how nurses can assist the Red Cross during disasters.
