WILSHIRE : Free Concert Series at Lunchtime Begins

As part of Wilshire Boulevard’s 100th anniversary celebration, the Wilshire Chamber of Commerce has begun hosting a free series of lunchtime concerts on Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Held at alternating locations along the Wilshire Boulevard commercial corridor, the Concerts for Lunch series features live jazz, blues and popular-music bands. Patrons can bring bag lunches or buy lunch.
Friday’s concert will be at Equitable Plaza, 3435 Wilshire Blvd., featuring Gregg Young and the 2nd Street Band. The series concludes Aug. 11.
