Traffic Deaths Point to Need for Re-Education
* The recent rash of traffic deaths in the San Fernando Valley should disturb everyone in the community and points to the urgent need for traffic re-education.
* Drivers must obey speed limits and follow vehicular guidelines.
* Pedestrians should use crosswalks and obey traffic signals.
* Youngsters biking, skating and skateboarding need to follow traffic laws.
* At busy intersections where walk signals barely allow time for mothers walking children or elderly pedestrians to get across, drivers must be especially alert and give walkers the right of way.
