Placentia police said Saturday they arrested five people on suspicion of manufacturing methamphetamine after a monthlong undercover investigation involving three law enforcement agencies.
The arrests occurred Friday evening, when police from Placentia and Buena Park, joined by members of a special state Department of Justice Bureau of Narcotics enforcement team, served a search warrant in the 6300 block of San Renaldo Circle in Buena Park.
Inside, they discovered a methamphetamine lab in operation and recovered six gallons of suspected liquid methamphetamine along with the associated manufacturing chemicals and lab apparatus, Placentia Sgt. Rick Miller said.
The following people were booked into Orange County Jail: James Casper, 43; Jeffrey Casper, 39, Robin Casper, 33, Gregory Gill, 35, and Dale Menadue, 40.
