Pacoima : 40-Year-Old Encino Man Dies in Shooting
A 40-year-old Encino man was fatally shot Sunday by an unidentified gunman who fled, Los Angeles police said.
The victim was not identified pending notification of relatives, Detective Frank Bishop said. The gunman was described as a Latino, 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-6, and about 25 years old.
Police said the victim died of multiple gunshot wounds from a small-caliber pistol at 7:40 a.m. in the 10500 block of Oneida Avenue in Pacoima. No motive for the shooting is known, Bishop said.
