ROLLER HOCKEY : Bullfrogs Still Perfect; Blades Win
Daniel Shank scored two goals in 25 seconds to rally the Bullfrogs over the San Diego Barracudas, 9-8, in front of 3,914 at San Diego on Thursday. The Bullfrogs (6-0) remain Roller Hockey International’s only undefeated team.
Chris Gordon made 29 saves for the Bullfrogs.
The Barracudas outshot the Bullfrogs in the second half, 22-13, including 15-7 in the third quarter.
Jason Krywulak scored three goals and had two assists for the Barracudas (3-4).
Blades 6, Sacramento 5--At Sacramento, the Blades won when Steve MacSwain was the only player to score in an overtime shootout.
Blade goaltender Sean Gauthier and River Rat goaltender Sergei Naumov each stopped the first four shots in the shootout.
The Blades are 4-3; Sacramento is 4-4.
