While embroiled in a losing court battle to win a place on the ballot for the 5th Council District race last March, Deputy Dist. Atty. Lea Purwin D’Agostino was already moving on, literally.
On the day a state appellate court ruled against her, D’Agostino’s offer to buy a condominium in Brentwood’s exclusive Mountain Gate complex was accepted.
D’Agostino said the offer on the condo was contingent on her losing the court challenge, which meant she was out of the running in the council race. The seat ultimately was won by Mike Feuer.
