WRONG NUMBER
How in God’s name did Sandy Sandfort snooker you into giving him a whole page for his trashy piece “How to Get a Direct Line to Talk Shows” (June 25)? It’s at best the sort of thing one finds on a cutesy “Entertainment Tonight” feature. At worst, which this one is, it’s unfunny, unwitty and an insult to your readers.
Kato Kaelin and now this. Do you really think a lot of Rush Limbaugh’s listeners read Calendar? (Do you really think a lot of his listeners know how to read?)
There are many fine writers in this city with ideas worth the newsprint. Please find them.
