VENTURA : City Opens One-Stop Permit Counter
- Share via
Ventura city officials have kicked off a one-stop permit service that they say will make it easier for contractors, engineers and homeowners to obtain building, planning and zoning information and permits.
The one-stop center was designed to facilitate the process by consolidating engineering, planning and inspection public services at the same location in City Hall’s Room 117, said city engineer Rick Raives.
The actual permit process has not changed, Raives said.
Other improved city services include streamlining the development and plan-check review process.
The one-stop permit counter will be open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays and Fridays and 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursdays.
