Hospital Offers Free Seminars on Diabetes
With the aim of educating the public on the symptoms and dangers of diabetes, Saddleback Memorial Medical Center is offering a series of free seminars.
Starting last week, the program will continue on Thursdays through Aug. 3.
The seminar will explain long- and short-term complications of diabetes, including effects on the eyes, heart and feet. The course will also show how to deal with diabetes by discussing self-management techniques and nutritional guidelines.
Classes at the center, at 24451 Health Center Drive, will be conducted by registered nurses, dietitians and doctors.
