Voters in North County’s 72nd Assembly District go to the polls Tuesday in a primary election to choose a new member of the Legislature’s lower house. The district includes La Habra, Fullerton, Placentia, Brea, Yorba Linda and small parts of Anaheim Hills and Buena Park.
If none of the four candidates receives more than 50% of the vote, a runoff will be held Sept. 12.
The district’s 154 polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Information: the county registrar of voters at (714) 567-7600.
