FILLMORE : Methamphetamine Seized From Lab
Sheriff’s deputies seized 88 liters of partially refined methamphetamine from a hidden drug lab in Fillmore on Tuesday. If the illegal chemicals had been converted into powder form, they would have been worth $450,000, Deputy Arnie Aviles said.
Deputies found the drug lab set up in horse stables at 19596 Telegraph Road while responding to a call in the area for trespassers. The deputies also found $5,000 in cash. The liquid methamphetamine was found hidden in beakers perched in the branches of several trees outside the stable.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing.
