Los Amigos High School has won a $5,000 state grant to improve the campus library, a spokesman for the Garden Grove Unified School District said.
The grant, provided by the state Department of Education, will be used to purchase books, videos and computer programs, especially those related to choosing a career, officials said.
The grant was generated through California’s Public School Library Fund, a program created in 1993 to boost the quality of campus libraries.
