SIT WITH MICKEY: One goal for Disney marketing people now that the company will soon be part-owner of the Angels: Put more fans in the seats. One solution: They’re selling Angels discount tickets--pavilion level, $3 instead of the usual $5--at Disneyland. You can buy them at the Premiere Store in Tomorrowland or at the Great American Pastime shop on its Main Street. . . . Sales are less than brisk so far, but a spokeswoman says most at the park aren’t aware of the bargain.

RAIL WIZARDS: In the movies, train commuters all gravitate to the bar car. But Metrolink doesn’t permit drinking. So what do you do on that long commute from Los Angeles? A score of Orange County rail riders have formed a “Wizard League.” They play the card game Wizard, and scramble to control the train seats with tables. . . . Says Frank Martin, a San Clemente toy salesman, who introduced it: “Now, instead of dreading the commute home, we can’t wait. We’ve all made new friends. Last weekend we had a yacht party in Dana Point just for players.”

BAR WATCH: Complaints to the state Bar Assn. resulted in 7,000 lawyers being disciplined in 1993. But Barbara Swist isn’t happy--111,000 complaints were filed. . . . “More than 100,000 people felt like their complaint didn’t count,” says Swist, head of the Irvine-based nonprofit Consumers for Legal Reform. To help the cause, her group has established a new hot line--(900) 321-8117--at $2.99 per minute, so callers can either complain about attorneys or inquire about them.

DREAM HOME? The Philharmonic Society of Orange County is hearing sweet music now that the numbers are in on its annual House of Design fund-raising efforts--$400,000. The house this year was the Chateau sur la Mer in the exclusive Pelican Hill area near Newport Beach. . . . Visitors paid to tour the spacious home, where 19 designers showcased their talents. If you want the Philharmonic Society to use your house in 1996, be warned: This year’s choice was 6,500 square feet.
