NEW YORK — The editor of an adult comic book plunged 45 floors to his death in the lobby of a ritzy Times Square hotel as dozens of tourists watched in horror, it was reported Friday.
George S. Carragonne, 31, who worked at Penthouse Comics, jumped Thursday from a balcony in the atrium of the Marriott Marquis Hotel after he walked in and asked a bellhop if it was the highest building in the area, authorities said.
When told it was, Carragonne took an elevator to the 45th floor. He climbed over the balcony and plunged to his death, landing near a glass elevator.
