Mail Plane Hits Coyote; Crew Was Unharmed

SUNRIVER, Ore. — A small plane delivering mail crash-landed after it struck a coyote wandering across the runway at a county airfield, officials said. The impact of the collision Friday knocked out the twin-engine plane’s front landing gear, and the plane skidded several hundred yards before stopping. No one was injured.
