* Doug Carter has been promoted to vice president of business affairs for The Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group.

Carter also will assume the post of vice president of business and legal affairs for Walt Disney Theme Park Productions.

In his new position with the motion pictures group, based in Burbank, Carter will be involved in all aspects of business affairs for motion pictures produced under the studio’s various production banners. He also will oversee entertainment-related business and legal affair issues for Disney’s theme parks, including all film projects created by theme park productions.

Carter began his association with Disney in 1989 as an attorney for Hollywood Pictures and was subsequently promoted to senior attorney.

For the past year, he has served as director of business affairs for Hollywood Pictures. He has been involved in productions such as “Crimson Tide” and the upcoming summer release “Dangerous Minds.” He also was associated with Hollywood Pictures’ critically acclaimed 1994 release “Quiz Show,” directed by Robert Redford.

* Lisa Lubin was named vice president of commercial banking for the Conejo Valley region at Agoura Hills-based Charter Pacific Bank. Previously, Lubin was manager of the Thousand Oaks branch of Bank of A. Levy.

* Vicki Brown was named vice president and manager of the Canyon Country offices of Sherman Oaks-based TransWorld Bank. Previously, Brown was vice president and manager of Valencia National Bank.

* Christopher C. Bernhardt has been named vice president of business development at Litton’s Guidance & Control Systems division in Woodland Hills.

He will be responsible for marketing, advanced systems development, strategic planning and acquisition activities.

Bernhardt was most recently in senior management with Allied Signal Aerospace.

* Robert Schneider was named senior vice president of worldwide corporate promotions at Warner Bros., a new position.

Previously, Schneider was senior vice president and director of client services at Frankel & Co. in Chicago. Warner Bros. is a Burbank-based media concern.
