So you’re partial to semiautomatic guns, camouflage and storing massive amounts of canned goods in preparation for the apocalypse. But looking around your home, you realize the gun-rack clashes with the battlefield green and those K-ration labels don’t go with anything.
What to do? The Long Beach Convention Center can help out the most ardent survivalist and home decorator this weekend with two very different conventions.

Next door, at Preparedness Expo ’95 in Exhibit Hall B, survivalists and militia members will meet for a traveling conference on everything from how to arm your own troops to water purification.
The featured speakers at the Preparedness Expo are Mark Koernke of the Michigan Militia and retired Green Beret Col. Bo Gritz, who, it is rumored, may be found next door catching up on the latest trends in bunker decoration.
