Woodside Village Is Not What It Used to Be

Your story on Woodside Village (“Convenient, Quiet Village in the Hills,” July 2) upset quite a few residents of the area. Even people who had moved out of the Woodside Village due to the car thefts and crimes called me to ask about the story.
Our community is no longer a country-like area. At one time it was a nice quiet area, but now you hear speeding cars, gunfire, homes have been burglarized several times each and the car thefts are very high in this area.
I feel newspapers should educate the public and not tell fairy tales.
