STYLE / FASHION : Looking the Part

It’s the Hollywood dream.

Looks like her new film, “The Zone,” will hit the theaters next spring. And if NBC picks up her pilot, “On Seventh Avenue,” Lara Harris could make it big.

You know what comes next.

No more waiting for the phone to ring. Just days of grace, lounging about in a lace skirt and a black jersey top. She already has the requisite house in the hills, the potted palms, the leopard-print carpeting. And a convertible roadster for afternoon motoring.

But she’ll need that Garbo look to match, the sunglasses and the coat. Leopard, of course. She’ll need something sleek for meeting with studio execs. For interviews with the press. Something black.

On a groggy morning, sitting at the edge of her bed, Lara suspects that stardom might require an awful lot of shopping.
