Still 4,000 Tickets Available
According to PGA officials, about 4,000 tickets are still unsold for the PGA Championship at Riviera Country Club.
Julius Mason, spokesman for PGA of America, said tickets are still available for all four days of the event, which begins today and continues through Sunday.
The tournament has sold roughly 18,000 tickets so far and Mason said he is confident that the people who have tickets for the first day or two will be drawn back for the remainder of the event.
“We have made the tickets so simple to order this year [through Ticket Master (800 PGA-IN-95)],” Mason said. “And for the first time we’re offering free parking and a free shuttle service to and from the golf course.”
