Remains Found Along Trail
Suspected human remains were discovered along a mountain trail in the Angeles National Forest north of Castaic Lake, a Los Angeles County sheriff’s spokesman said Saturday.
The remains were found about 10 p.m. Friday in a remote area bordered by Pine Canyon Road and West 230th Street. They will be turned over to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office to determine whether the remains are human and whether foul play was involved, according to the spokesman, who said no further information was available.
