Hortense R. Greene; Former Restaurant Owner
Hortense (Kay) R. Greene, a longtime Santa Paula resident and former restaurant owner, died Thursday in an Oxnard Hospital. She was 77.
Mrs. Greene owned the Ribley restaurant in Santa Paula for several years and was also an active member of the American Assn. of Retired Persons. She also attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.
She is survived by her husband, Martin Greene of Santa Paula; a sister, Ronnie Tipton of Santa Paula; and two brothers, Augustine Reyes and Gilbert Delao, both of Santa Paula.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Mass will be said at the church at 9 a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Renee Juarez officiating. Burial follows in Santa Paula Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Skillin-Carroll Mortuary in Santa Paula.
