ROLLER HOCKEY PLAYOFFS : Bullfrogs Out-Bully the Barracudas, 10-3

The Bullfrogs anticipated and got a physical contest against San Diego in a Roller Hockey International Western Division semifinal playoff game Saturday night.

The teams combined for 111 penalty minutes, 45 in the third quarter.

Anaheim converted on seven of 10 power plays and won, 10-3, before 3,743 at the Sports Arena.

San Diego defeated the Bullfrogs in a fight-marred game earlier this month.

The Bullfrogs got three goals apiece from Todd Wetzel and Rick Judson. Daniel Shank had six assists and one goal.

The Bullfrogs lead the series, 1-0, and can advance to the divisional finals with a victory tonight at The Pond of Anaheim.

If San Diego can rebound with a victory, the teams would play a 12-minute mini-game to decide the series.

Shank was called for a game-misconduct penalty and ejected in the fourth quarter. Under league rules, the play will be reviewed by officials today to see if Shank can play tonight or sit out a one-game suspension, which would include the mini-game.
