Man Dies in Gang-Related Shooting

VAN NUYS — A man was shot to death early Monday in what police described as a gang-related killing.
The shooting occurred just after midnight outside an apartment complex in the 8100 block of Langdon Avenue. Police arrived to find two men injured, and they were taken to Northridge Hospital Medical Center, where one died and the other was in stable condition, LAPD Lt. Terry Pratt said.
The name of the dead man, who appeared to be in his mid-20s, was not known, Pratt said. Six suspects were arrested at the scene, he said, and were being questioned Monday.
