Two men stole $150,000 worth of computer chips from a 34-year-old courier as he was leaving a convenience store, authorities said Thursday.

The computer parts courier was walking to his car at Bake Parkway and Trabuco Road about 5 p.m. Wednesday when one of the men put a gun to his ear, Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Tom Garner said.

The assailants took the computer chips from the trunk of the courier’s car and fled in a blue four-door sedan, investigators said.

Both men were described as in their 30s with black hair. One assailant was 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighed about 150 pounds and had a vertical scar on his face, Sheriff’s Lt. Rich Paddock said.

The second thief was described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and about 160 pounds. Both men were wearing blue dress shirts, black pants and black shoes, Paddock said.
