Bones Found Near Freeway
GORMAN —
Sheriff’s investigators Thursday were examining a pile of bones that appeared to be human, which were found near the Golden State Freeway, officials said.
The bones were found about 1 p.m. on Smokey Bear Road, a dirt road about a mile north of Pyramid Lake, Deputy George Ducolumbier said.
He said it was unknown how long they had been there.
