Four Florida football players, including running back Fred Taylor and receiver Reidel Anthony, were charged with misdemeanors alleging they illegally used a debit card to buy pizzas.

Also charged were reserves Jamie Richardson, a freshman receiver, and defensive back Teako Brown, who already was suspended for today’s season opener against Houston after being accused of hitting his girlfriend. The other three players remain on the team.

A police report obtained by the Florida Times-Union said the players were accused of fraudulently charging $71.22 on a debit card to buy pizzas from July 18-25. The debit card belonged to Anita Jarnagin, a service technician at the Gainesville police department who had reported it lost.
