YUBA CITY--The humble dried plum is honored at the California Prune Festival, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Sept. 9-10. Prune ice cream and prune chili are among the prune offerings. NEVADA CITY--The 29th annual Constitution Day Celebration is held Sept. 9-10. SAN RAFAEL--A bounty of fresh food and culinary activities awaits at the 12th annual Marin County Harvest Faire, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Sept. 10 at the Marin Civic Center Lagoon and Fairgrounds. Highlights include gardening, health, art and cooking demonstrations; more than 225 growers, artists and others; wine tasting; country brunch; live music; children’s activities; tomato tasting; and pepper roasting and tasting. SAN BERNARDINO--More than 1,200 cars, including classics and sports cars, are expected to be on display and cruising in the sixth annual Route 66 Rendezvous, Sept. 14-17 on E Street and adjacent streets, downtown.
