Oxnard Concern Pledges $50,000 to Boy Scouts
PAL Employer Services, an Oxnard concern that provides companies with payroll, human resources and benefits management services, has pledged $50,000 to the Ventura County Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
Mary Ann Underwood, co-owner of PAL along with her husband, Jerry, said the contributions will be made over the next four years.
“We like how Scouting helps develop leadership qualities in our young people,” she said. “We also like that Scouting is not city-specific, so no matter where we have employees, it fits.”
