OXNARD--A plethora of nautical activities is planned for the seventh annual Maritime Days, Sept. 22-24, at various venues in the Channel Islands Harbor. The free Pirate’s Ball is 5-11 p.m. Friday. Saturday and Sunday’s events, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., include arts and crafts, a chowder cook-off, classic yacht displays, children’s fishing derby and sand sculpture contest. A shipwreck party is 4-11 p.m. Saturday ($2); a classic yacht parade is 10 a.m. Sunday. A water taxi shuttles visitors to different venues. (805) 985-4852.

CALISTOGA--Antique aircraft and autos are showcased at “Flivvers and Flyers,” the annual Auto and Air Fair, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sept. 23 at the Calistoga Gliderport. In addition to the exhibits and displays, sky divers and live music are featured, and a Hangar Dance is at 8 p.m. Fair admission: $7; $4 for kids. Dance tickets: $7. (707) 942-6333. SANTA BARBARA--The 24th annual Zoo-B-Que is 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Santa Barbara Zoo, 500 Ninos Drive. Tri-tip barbecue (and vegetarian plates) are served, and festivities include crafts for kids, carousel, train and camel rides, entertainment and raptor demonstrations. $10 (free for kids under 7) includes zoo admission and activities.
