Don’t Even Consider Closing Beachmont
* We are highly incensed that anyone even considered the closing of Beachmont Street in Ventura.
How quickly we forget that Harbor Boulevard had to be closed during the recent heavy rains because of the mudslides. Also, scientists predict more heavy rains for California because of the El Nino conditions.
What an awful inconvenience it would be for the 310 senior families who reside here at Ventura Marina Mobile Home Park. We use Beachmont Street to go to the market, banks, cleaners and so forth. We strongly object to the closing of a public street.
