Walking Tours in Manhattan

Share

Travelers who can follow the dotted line may like four new self-guided walking tours in New York City. The tours, created by Heritage Trails New York, cover 4 1/2 miles and pass 50 landmarks in downtown Manhattan. Routes are designated by 2,376 permanent colored dots painted on the ground, and all start at Federal Hall National Memorial, the site of George Washington’s inauguration in 1789. The four routes are laid out in a free brochure that is available at Federal Hall National Memorial, 26 Wall St. An expanded, 40-page guidebook and map is available for $5.
