THOUSAND OAKS : AAUW Branch Sets Annual Breakfast

Celebrating its 30th year in the community, the Thousand Oaks branch of the American Assn. of University Women will hold its annual membership breakfast Saturday. “Advocating Equity, Honoring Diversity” is the theme of the breakfast.

The AAUW, which promotes equity, education and societal changes for women, invites new and prospective members to attend the event. Membership is open to everyone holding a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.

The breakfast, which costs $16.50, will start at 8:30 a.m. at North Ranch Country Club, 4761 Valley Spring Drive, Westlake Village. It will include a silent auction to benefit the Educational Foundation.
