Masimo Corp.: The tiny Mission Viejo biotechnology company said it will license technology to health-care industry giant Baxter International for developing new devices to monitor a patient’s vital signs. A spokesman for privately held Masimo said its technology can be used to screen out effects of patient movements that distort readings on monitoring instruments that are widely used in hospital operating rooms.
