Rockwell Graphic Systems Names New Chief

Robert M. Kuhn has been appointed president of Rockwell Graphic Systems, a unit of Seal Beach-based Rockwell International Corp. He succeeds Robert L. Swift, who will retire at the end of the year. Kuhn had previously been president of Hamilton Standard, a United Technologies Corp., for six years. He has also been chief financial officer and member of the board of directors of Armtek Corp.; president of the Dayco division of Armtek; senior vice president of Pratt & Whitney’s F-100 Engine Program; vice president of purchasing for Pratt & Whitney; and divisional executive vice president of finance and administration for the Singer Co. Rockwell Graphic Systems, based in Westmont, Ill., is a manufacturer of web offset presses.

Patrick Bell has been named manager of Tourneau Watch Co. in South Coast Plaza. He was formerly assistant manager at two Tourneau stores in New York, where the retailer of Swiss watches is based.

Kevin Kuykendall has been appointed executive director of satellite communications for Interstate Electronics Corp. in Anaheim. He previously spent two years with Orion Atlantic as executive director of carrier sales, and six years with MCI, where he was senior national sales manager and senior manager for global communications service. Kuykendall was also a pitcher with the Cleveland Indians during the 1986-88 seasons.

Doug Hikawa has joined Beech Street Corp., an Irvine producer of managed health care, as director of workers’ compensation operations. Hikawa was previously vice president of claims for Workers Compensation & Indemnity Co., a subsidiary of Fremont Pacific Insurance Cos.. He also spent 10 years with Industrial Indemnity Insurance Services.

Patricia Moore has been appointed to the California Assn. of Realtors Executive Committee, a statewide advisory board for the real estate industry. Moore is executive vice president of the Orange Coast Assn. of Realtors in Newport Beach.

Stephen White has joined BJ’s Chicago Pizzeria, a chain based in Mission Viejo, as director of operations. He was previously corporate general manager for Claim Jumper Restaurants Inc.
