Liberty National Bank: The Huntington Beach bank said third-quarter profit was $240,288, or 25 cents a share, contrasted with a net loss of $481,545, or 49 cents a share, for the corresponding quarter last year. Year-to-date profit rose to $815,017, or 83 cents a share, from a net loss of $1.2 million, or $1.27 a share. Total assets increased 9% from the year-earlier period to $146.1 million from $134.3 million.
