* Greenville Fundamental School, Santa Ana. Focus on patriotism, character development and discipline. (714) 557-9117.
* Medical Careers, Sonora High School, La Habra. A two-year program focusing on health-care training. (310) 905-9800.

A number of high schools also offer an International Baccalaureate curriculum, whose objectives are “to provide students with a balanced education; to facilitate geographic and cultural mobility, and to promote international understanding through a shared academic experience,” as one catalogue describes it. Students who complete the program receive a diploma from the International Baccalaureate Organization in Geneva.
